Our Navajo - Churro Ewe sheep is sheered twice a year due to the fact she grows about 1 inch a month like out angora goats. Speckles has nice raw wool for hand spinning, the fiber felts nicely for hand made items and crafts, would make nice socks. She is the last one we have left and soon she will have new friends of Cotswold Sheep. This breed is similar to the Navajo - Churro in it's growing 1 in. of fiber a month, but it is similar to my angora goats also as in they have ringlets for their wool like the angora goats.
We are expecting lambs from her in 2008.
The lambs will be full Navajo - Churro but not registered. They will be for sale if they are rams, if interested please keep and an eye on the Rams for Sale page.
